When I started to offer dermaplaning in 2017, I was most excited about how this treatment removed the vellus hair (peach fuzz). I had plenty of experience with face wax to remove vellus hair, and I never liked how it irritated the skin. Even with the best wax products and no matter how gentle I was, it still caused minor discomfort for my clients during the service. Quickly dermaplane became my go-to treatment for almost every clients, regardless of the presence of vellus hair. Not only did this treatment offer the visible results you could see and feel right away, but it also had no downtown and was suitable for almost all my clients. It was a win-win treatment, and everyone benefited. Now we combine dermaplane with Hydrafacials, Procell Microchanlling, and Peels, and it is a game changer for that immediate result-driven goal we strive for in every service we offer at Skin Spa.
